My mission is to log 1 million miles on bicycles during my lifetime. Stationary riding or indoor miles do not count at all! I have already logged over half a million miles on many bikes since 1968. I enter several ultra-cycling events each year. For the past 8 years, I have finished the 3,000 mile bicycle race, the Race Across AMerica or RAAM. The race begins on the Pacific Coast
and continues 24 hours a day until the first cyclist reaches the finish in the East. The following list documents my placings for each of the 8 years that I have competed in the race:
